About the university
St Joseph’s University (SJU), Bengaluru is a public-private-partnership university located on Lalbagh Road in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Established as an autonomous institution before becoming a university under the Karnataka Government Act in 2021, SJU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across areas including business, commerce, computer applications, humanities, social sciences, sciences, media and related disciplines. Entry requirements
For undergraduate admission, applicants must have completed 10+2/12th standard or an equivalent recognised qualification. SJU accepts qualifications including Indian 10+2, GCE A Levels, International Baccalaureate and other recognised 12-year secondary qualifications. Programme-specific subject and eligibility requirements apply. International applicants are exempt from the university entrance admission examinations, but shortlisted applicants may be required to complete an online interview or screening; the remaining programme eligibility requirements are the same as for Indian applicants.
