Admission to Vilnius University varies by programme and applicant background. For Bachelor’s and Integrated studies, international applicants must have completed secondary education or an equivalent qualification that gives access to higher education in their home country, and must meet any country-specific and programme-specific requirements. Applicants must provide proof of language proficiency, a motivation letter and the required academic and identification documents. For programmes taught in English, Vilnius University currently accepts IELTS Academic 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 81+, Cambridge English 176+, PTE Academic 59+, LanguageCert IESOL B2, Duolingo English Test 120+, Password Skills Plus 6.5+ or an equivalent B2 CEFR certificate. Native English speakers and applicants whose previous studies were taught in English may be exempt from an English test. Some programmes may require an additional assessment, and non-EU/EFTA applicants generally cannot have more than a five-year gap since their most recent secondary or higher qualification. Applicants should confirm the exact requirements for their chosen programme before applying.
